Likes

Scenic views and beautiful campus. Views are very good and beautiful as you can see the mountains clearly. Big campus to explore and sit. Playing area and nore.
During classes, the canteen is available and affordable. Good security
Good staff who listens whenever you need them. Issues are resolved as soon as possible.

Dislikes

Washrooms needs some renovation. As some taps are not much inact.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of B.Tech is good and according to the government guidelines. We have different subjects which are aligned towards the stream chosen by the student. With theory the labs are also taken seriously.

Internships Opportunities

Internship offers are from some known companies like amazon, infosys, service now with a stipend of over 15K. They are both onsite or WFH depending on the company and role offered. The college guides through all the process of getting of Internship.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students become egligible for campus placements. The companies that visit college includes Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, Atlassian, Adobe etc. Av. Package is 7 Lpa and Higest this year 67 Lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearwise fee that I pay is almost 238000 as I have got several scholarships such as the Uttrakhand state Domicile, merit based on board percentage etc. With state domicile I got almost 15% discount and also a sibling discount which was almost 7%. The registration fee is 1500 rupees. Courses other than B.Tech are also quite affordable.

Campus Life

Our College hosts two big fests in an year, One is Student grafest which is a 3day intra-college cultural event and the other is annual fest grafest which is held annually. Also there are many more events held.

Admission

I chose this college Because of the accessibility of the course of my interest. With my rank in JEE I chose course over college. Also the campus is in a good location with asscesibility to daily needs. Access to Different societies and clubs.

Faculty

Faculties are good and qualified accordingly. The faculty to student ratio is good. The faculties are calm and listening. There are two examinations held in a semester, midterm and endterm. The difficulty level is moderate or depending upon the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I got admission offer from Sharada, SRM and GEHU Bhimtal campus also but compared to all of them placement system is good in GEHU DDN. No I donot get rejections at all For admission you have to consult with the admission team and they will give you form of admission where all needed details need to be filled.
