Is this college actually good?

i would think of rating it 7 as it was still better than other colleges in my city. the ciricullum doesnt necessarily prepare us for real world application but does provide us with a good base to start and makes easy to understand high level concepts. remove extra subjects which has no relevance whatsoever from 2nd year and so.i think the frequency and timing of exams is quit good actually.

i dont know the companies but from my memory the companies can be as big as microsoft, google, amazon, and can be small companies and startups too. projects can be many but i still dont know much about it.

students are eligible for placement after 4th semester that is the 5th sem. many companies vist the college specially from 7th semester the companies that visit are paypal, amazon, tcs, wipro, atlantis and many other companies make a visit.the highest package ever offered was 88.40 lakhs and the average package was 3-5lakhs.i personally plan to work at a high end company after degree. the percennt of students getting placed is 45 to 52 percent.

year wise i dont pay but its around 275000 and an increment of 5percent every year. the same is for my batchmates the scolarship are dommissile and 70+ percent marks in 12th and 5percent army concession.

my overall experience to be honest was moderate not too good but also not too bad at the same time. the fests are held quiet oftenly i haven't accessed the library so i dont know much about the books. the facilities and technologiccal provisions within the classroom is quiet good. to be honest the extracurricular and sports activities on campus is very bad . the college clubs are quiet good.

i chose this college as it had a good reputation many suggested me this college and it also provides with cheap bus service which is obviously a good point and i heard good thinngs about this college thats why i chose this over others

the ration of the faculty to student is i'll say quite good loke from what i know even though its around 1:300 around but they do have many teachers at substitute for each subject. and their are proper timetable for students to manage their work and time for teachers.i found quite a few teachers good and quite a few not so good but i'd rather not disclose their names.their are 4 exams in a year and 2 in a sem a mid sem and an end sem of moderate difficulty. quite a few students fail to clear the exam the course ciricullum is quite relevant at the same time its not.
