Course Curriculum Overview
I was at my starting stage of civil service priliminary preparation. So I thought this course will help my future. The syllabus and carriculum of the course was very helpful to civil service preparations.
Fees and Financial Aid
I took admission in 2015. It was nice experience. There was an entrance test and I cracked the same to get admission. The total tuition fee for three year was below 35000. Theres is a cuation deposit of only 5000 i think. Since its a government University the fee is comparatively less. They also provide various types of schlarship for minority and financially backward students like Ambedkar Schlarship.
Campus Life
There were many seminars happened in every department. Any student can participate in the same and food was also provided. The annual fest of Jamia Millia Islamia was Taalimi Mela which was colourful in terms of diversity. The library was open to all. Anyone can take boo with their Id cards. Not all the class rooms were digital. But some of the class rooms had digital board, presentation tools etc.. The sports fest was very hiped one. The facilities to encourage sports were so benefitial to students. Cricket ground, football ground, tennis ground, basket ball, volley ball, shuttle everything was there. Students can run any club, organization and political parties and also free to conduct protests and strikes if needed without harming the culture of the university.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel was one of the best hostel for a government university. The food served at hostel were so delicious. But getting hostel is little difficult since it has various stages like application, interview etc... Hostel fee was very less.
Admission
As I said Jamia Millia Islamia is one of the renowned university in India. Also world famous too. The faculties are very experienced. I also applied for political science course at Calicut University. But more than calicut University Jamia Millia was my dream.
Faculty
The faculty student ratio was around 40:1. The relationship of faculty was very friendly towards students. They make us understandable about what they teaching. They also helps with other activities. There are semester wise exam and class test were also conducted.
