Likes

One of the things I like about this college is it location, Being a Photographer I love this place it's heaven
Another is it has the only team from north india which goes into SAE BAJA
If U want to grow this college will give U numerous opportunities

Dislikes

Again the location as this is in outskirts
Water supply literally the water supply is so so poor
Girls are not allowed to come outside the hostel after 6 PM

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually the course has been decided by veer madhav singh bhandari technical university Dehradun, so on that no one can question the course is fine enough to create engineers. And for reallife problems we are provided with miini and major projects which is a part of syllabus.

The fees which I paid here for a semester is 32280 which is Thirty two thousand, two hundred eighty rupees. Which means my early fees is 64560, Altought many scholarships are available but I did not opt for any

Campus Life

The campus life is good enough for boys but for girls it's the worst as they have to share a single room with 5 people that too with no balcony. Whereas for boys they are provided with good enough hostle rooms in which only 3 have to share the room with attached balcony in each room. Clubs are good enough we have every type of club for people to be indulged with Photography - Drishtikon Robotics - Prasthanam Vehicle design - TSR

Hostel Facilities

Every student is provided with a cot, a table and a chair, every student gets an almirah, The rooms are good enough for boys as the have to share a room with 3 whereas girls have to share each room with 5. Food is fine and the menu is decided by students only Hostel are very very affordable we have to pay only 18000 for 6 months and out of which mony is refunded if u take leave from the hostel

Admission

So I chose this college over other colleges as this college allowed branch upgrade, which is not allowed now, Also this college allowed students from non tech in tech placements. I chose this college over COT Pantnagar as these things were not allowed in pantnagar. The admission process is through UTU counselling on basis of jee mains score

So the exam pattern is like we have two Class tests fifteen marks each in each sem which is added in your end sem results. Faculties of electrical engineering department are very very supportive and helpful

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I applied for this college only as my parents allowed for this one only as it is closer to my home. The college lacks a bit in terms of infrastructure as compared to other colleges in the region. The placements are not good enough.
