The sceneric view in our college is pretty good.
Hostel and mess fees is very affordable.
The faculty in our college is very helpful.

Dislikes

There is a very large distance between girls hostel and departments.
Water supply is not so regular in our college.
Since the college is on mountains there is network problem.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus in biotechnology is basically related to research field. Faculty members helps us to relate those things with real life by giving wonderful examples. The external exam is of 3 hours and CT is of 1 hour.

Placement Experience

There are in campus placements in our college but Placements in our college varies from branch to branch. There are several companies that visits here every year. The average package here is 600000 per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college where I am studying has a good rating in uttarakhand. It is one of the great college. In our college, also with studies there are some extra curricular activities too like we have different clubs. Students can develop their skills through these clubs.

There are so many clubs according to your interest that we have in our college also every department has its own society. There are fests like goonj and Josh that held alternatively every year and events like footloose that held every year.

Hostel Facilities

Our mess fees is 16000 rupees and hostel fees is 2280 rupees which is very affordable and our per day meal costs us 89 rupees only. The quality of mess food is average only and also the hostels has WiFi facilities.

Admission

I got to know about this college online and one of my friend also recommended me this college. I got here by UTU counseling and the criteria of that counseling depends on branch to brach for example in any other branch they need jee mains percentile but for biotechnology for 12th marks of pcb is also applicable.

Faculty

There are 9 faculty over 25-30 students in biotechnology department. The faculties of our department are very experienced and helpful too. There is one external examination at the end of the semester and 2 CTs in one semester

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

-i have no choice to choose other college because my jee rank was not so good and in private college there fee structure is very high so I have to choose this college over other colleges. -yes i am rejected by many college because my jee rank was too low to get there admission. - you have to clear jee mains exam to get admission in my college. I applied for this college only as my parents allowed for this one only as it is closer to my home. The college lacks a bit in terms of infrastructure as compared to other colleges in the region. The placements are not good enough. To take admission into Btech 1st year in this college, one needs to give JEE Mains exam and UKSEE for lateral entry and 12th merit is accepted for admission in Biotechnology.
