I've been always been influenced by technology that's why I chose this course. This college is really good for engineering and provides average placements. We have 2 exams per semester, one mid semester exams which is of 25 marks and one end semester exams which is of 50 marks . Rest 25 marks are based on internal assessment

Fees and Financial Aid

I've paid total amount of 9 -10 lakhs upto now as I'm in third year of my engineering course and still have to pay upto 7-8 lakhs more to complete my degree. Tution fees for btech in first year is 1.5 lakh per semester. It increases every year by 10 thousand or more depending upon the branch or specialization you choose . Scholarship are given to meritorious students who consistently score above 8 cgpa.

This college is really good when it comes to fests ... It organises GRAFEST during May of every year which is one of the largest college fest in whole of India . Sports culture is really good . Groups and committees are also prevalent here

Admission

I didn't apply to any other colleges as I liked this college initially and took direct admission in it . I got to know about this college through word of mouth as my relatives studied here. Admission process was smooth and staff was really helpful

Faculty

faculty-to-student ratio is fine . It is appropriately 1:70 that is one teacher for almost 70 students. Faculty is helpful. They help in building projects. In extra curricular activities too . Solve student's doubt at the moment

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

GEU means business of highest order!
