Its a really nice college. The teachers are really friendly.
Course Curriculum Overview
Totally there are 8 semesters for the course. In the first year, we had 6 theory papers and 3 lab papers. And from S3 to S7 we had ^theory papers and 2 lab papers. And in the final Semester, we had 4 theory papers. We also had a Design project in the 3rd year and a major project in the final year. Two internal exams are conducted each semester and then lab exams and semester exams. Also, class tests were conducted after the completion of each module. Exams conducted was fair.
Placement Experience
The placements were really good at TIST. Almost all the students got placed in our batch. Big companies like Infosys, TCS, HnR, Hyundai, Wipro and many more companies came for recruitment.
College Events
Onam, Christmas, College Day, College Fest: Advay, Arts Day: Mudra, department tech Fests, Sports day all these were celebrated in the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
75000 was the tuition fee for one year. In the first year, we had to pay for our textbooks also. 10750 was the bus fees for per year. bus fees will change according to the location. then special fees were also included in the fees. Overall I had to 85-860000 per year for the government allotted seat without any considerations.
Fees and Financial Aid
Education loan will depend upon the bank you avail. I did not opt for any scholarship.
Campus Life
Campus life was good. equal ratios of boys and girls are studying in college. Extracurricular competitions and events are conducted in the college.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors helped with our project. they also helped us to prepare for our placements. they are many entrepreneurs in our college to inspire us.
Admission
I got admission in this college through the government allotment on 14th July 2015. I enlisted my name for the government allotment and I got allotted to the computer science department of TIST. Then I came to the college and enrolled my name for computer science and engineering.
Faculty
Interactions with the faculties were really good. They were always available whenever we needed them. We were able to contact them through emails, calls, and WhatsApp.
