Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course I'm a part of, AIML ( artificial intelligence and machine learning ) is in great demand and would further be in demand...the curriculum is not perfect but it's fine keeping in mind the basic applications of the subject's..The areas for improvement would definitely be the programming subjects and the time given to complete those courses...The frequency and timing of the exams on the scale of difficulty is easy to moderate

Fees and Financial Aid

So, I'm currently doing a 4 year hons course in bsc cs specialization in aiml and the fees we pay, yearly is 1,50,000 which is basically 75,000 for each sem... whichever category you belong to, it doesn't change the fee structure...the fee structure remains the same for every category... the fee includes everything like the usage of labs, tuition fees, library fees etc..

Campus Life

3.5

Every department has their own set of fests, similarly the cs department have their Cygnus fest which is held annually... The range and accessibility of books and journals available in the library is great, there is a wide range of options to choose from.. The facilities and technological provisions within the classrooms is okay.. The extracurricular activities are offered in the form of a subject called CC and it is mandatory for each student to take part in them..

Admission

I had applied to others colleges as well like dy patil and nirmala....The reason I didn't opt for nirmala was because they didn't have this particular aiml course and the fees structure of dy patil was beyond the budget I had..Also, I got rejected from nirmala although I did my 12th from there because they had only limited seats..The admission process to my cllg was really easy, they only went for the 12th marksheet along with the 10th and some other necessary documents, the admission process was overall fine

Faculty

4.5

The faculty relationship with the students is very friendly and that's never a problem here and that's a plus point about my college...we can approach them for anything and they're always ready to help...i genuinely respect Ankit sir a lot, rn in sy he teaches us subjects like probability and statistics, and knowledge representation and reasoning, and the way he teaches us is impeccable...I didn't really like Rashmi ma'am, she used to be our mentor...she was strict for no apparent reason and there were times where she was unnecessarily rude..We have 3 unit tests before each sem exam..One of them being in the online mode..According to the curriculum, the test papers are not that hard...

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
