Well course curriculum is quite good , it has more preference to practical work than only theory, as people learn more through practice rather than just reading theory.Most of subjects have labs and each lab has its own quality.

Hotel infrastructure is good , girls and boys have different hostels . Each hostel have every facilities like gym combine TV room library canteen . Hostel rooms also have TV's and mess food is also okay. If any device is broken it is repaired as fast as possible.

Well senior students also help junior of their respective branches most of seniors control societies and help students . Seniors also interact with hostel students and help them with subject. Study material site is created by seniors for juniors to study efficiently.
Exam Structure
MST + EST + INTERNAL MST have about 25% weightage ,EST have about 40% weightage rest is internal which consists of quizs tut tests and sessional. Sometimes we also have to make projects and they have weightage about 20%.

By clearing cut off in JEE mains . According to my rank I was offered seat in online counselling , I preferred computer trade and I get admission in Thapar institute of engineering technology.It is best stream offered by Thapar.
Faculty
Well most of faculties are good . They have complete knowledge of their subjects and help students as best as they can , they are willing to give doubts ant time if possible. And they try to make lecture as good as possible.
