Night Life

Satyawati College, located in Ashok Vihar, Delhi, provides students with a balanced campus life but limited nightlife options. The campus facilities, including the library, cafeteria, and gymnasium, usually operate during standard college hours and serve as prime spots for daytime relaxation and productivity. However, Satyawati College does not offer on-campus hostel accommodations, so many students reside in nearby paying guest facilities in areas like GTB Nagar and Vishwavidyalaya, which are known for their student-friendly atmosphere. When it comes to unwinding after classes, students often venture outside the campus. Popular hangout spots include Netaji Subhash Place (NSP), a bustling hub with numerous eateries like Billu’s Hut and cafes offering affordable meals. Another student favorite is Hudson Lane, renowned for its vibrant cafes and diverse cuisine. These places are perfect for late-night snacks, group studies, or casual gatherings. While the immediate vicinity of the colleg

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
