College administration is bit strict(Retd army officers only). Otherwise, you will enjoy your stay in college and learn amazing things if you work accordingly. You will secure a good future if you work hard.

Entrance Exam, Merit List

By now, the Course Curriculum followed is of Pune University. But from next session (2019-2020) college will have their own courses. The college will become autonomous. This is actually great things and tailored regulations can be made now.

Yes, but the opportunities that college provide are very very limited and most of the students arrange their own. For example for my batch, when I was in the 3rd year only 3 companies visited a college for internships. This number is increasing every year.

Placements here is quite better than many NITs. 90%+ people get placed easily. Although very good companies hesitate to visit college due to the limited strength of the college. I would say placements is the unique selling point of this college.

There won't be any month when there is no major event in the college. Amethyst- Cultural Fest of AIT Solutions- Technical Fest of AIT Pace- Sports Fest of AIT Aakriti- cultural fest (inter-branch) Tech- aakriti- technical fest (inter-branch) Sports- aakriti- sports fest (inter-branch) Hackathons, poetry competitions and what not.

Fees structure is a bit expensive. As it is a private college, hence no govt aid. It would take 9+ lac for 4 years l, which includes all amenities like turion, development, mess, hostel, WiFi, laundry, etc.

If you are a girl, you will definitely get a scholarship otherwise you have to work hard in academics to get some. The loan can be easily approved from banks like SBI, HDFC. There are many students who are doing Thier degrees through the loan.

You will find most of the sports in college. Basketball, Cricket, Football, Badminton, Squash, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Chess, etc. Labs are good as well new labs are very good and old ones are getting replaced. It depends on dependent on the department.

Hostel infrastructure is average. There are provisions for hot water, approx 1 toilet for 7 students in new blocks and 1 for 10 in old ones. There is the scene of in time for first years boys and girls of all years.

Alumni network is great, it has been just 25 years of college. You will still find many alumni in the best companies in the world handling great responsibilities. Every year there is alumni meet in December.

As I told earlier that, the college was under Pune University till now. Hence, an examination was mandated by University itself. From 2019-20 session College will be autonomous and hence will have the power to consist of their own examination.

One has to fill Joint Entrance Exam mains application and a separate AIT Pune application form, a merit list is then formed. According to merit and choices, you are allotted with respect to your preference.

Faculty is above average, some of them are quite good and really takes interest and some of them are not up to the mark. Similar to what we see in any school or college. Most of the faculty are doing their PhDs.
