Likes
- The fascinating thing is that it is an IIT.so the collage. Equipped with all sports facilities like badminton,table tennis,basket ball,squash,football, cricket, kabbadi with proper courts and equipment.
- Very large campus with lots of things to explore and adequate food options to pay and eat. And from next year dominos is also comming to campus.
- Most appreciating part is that all years we have single room and no ragging at all and hostel are equipped with gardens and and benches where we can sit and enjoy with friends
Dislikes
- Classes are bit far from the hostel and there are sloppy roads which makes sometimes difficult to drive cycle and most importantly the campus does not allow btech students to have motored vehicle.
- Mess food is again a big challange because roti are not buttered but there options within mess to pay and eat(which is good in taste).

Placement Experience
There is a very good placements here as IIT unknown for their placements and iit Bhubaneswar offers an internship program from 3rd year onwards we can do internship in the first and second years but it's optional so we can do it and from 4th year we can get placements where is almost 80% placements of student within the campus and there are also the startup cells which do promote startups.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are two semister in year So for the first semister course fee = rs100000 Hostel = ?9500 Mess= RS18000 + (18000 advance also in first semister only) Other fee = RS11000 Similarly for second year
Campus Life
Is fantastic and there are many clubs here there are four tact clubs mainly FEBS, NEUROMANCER, RICS, NAKSTRA There are a variety of cultural clubs and there are also opportunities for inter, which is a fascinating thing about the IITS where all it is comes to complete among themselves at one venue Bhubaneswar also offers a very big range of books in the library which has a reading room a self-study room with a complete with the computers.
Hostel Facilities
First of all, we get a single room where we get a bed and table chair and the bad one does not come with a mattress and pillow we have to purchase we can buy it from the hostel or you can take it from home if you want to and there is one almirah and one balcony for every room. The milk quality is here good but the taste might not be as good as you think because all the students came from different locations all over India so there may be some issues regarding the taste.
Admission
First of all college, I got from Josaa Counselling where I filled out various iits to get in but due to my preference order a get into the IT Bhubaneswar electrical branch I have gotten out some information about this college and about this branch as I am expecting to get this branch according to the previous data and the average package here in the electrical branch is very high as compared to the other.
Faculty
In IIT academics are a bit tough as there are min 80% attendance needed to sit in exams. You have to get at least 2/3 course credit. There two papers in one semester 1. Midsem(30% weightage) 2. Endsem(50%wieghtage) And remaining 20% are in the hands of profs based on internal assessment. Exams are not so difficult and can be covered if pay attention in classes. There is a decent 1:60 faculty-student ratio. Which was further assisted by TA's(teaching assistants)
