Course Curriculum Overview

4

the course i am persuing is relevant and comprehensive enough public speaking leadership skills and data management relationship management conflict management is all we learn because there are the key skills which a hr needs. i had this course retailing in my school there i get to learn about HR and it inspired me alot and when i got to know a college is proving course in this field i had to got with this i made my mind. the curriculum also.needs some improvement such as letting the students have real word experience by providing internship opportunities and by industrial visits. the exams are taken once after 4-5 month thats the period of 1 semester. and the difficulty is low to moderate not really difficult.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

i haven't got any internship opportunities from college placement cell i once cleared the interview of the internship for HR and i later on realised it was a sales internship so i had to say no for this internship. but yes, through LinkedIn and naukri i have done 3 internship and the stipend in first internship was 9k, in second 15k and in third 10k. it was the mixture of both good and bad memories in my first internship, i was content writer and used to make study material for cuet aspirants. in my second internship i was a consultant who used to help people find a job in my third internship i was a hr recruiter who used to align interviews for candidates.

Placement Experience

3

NOT GOOD. nost of the companies are startups that doesn't provide the stipend against the work they are expecting from us. and the offices of all the companies are either in noida or in gurugram both these places are really far from my place. they do make the companies come but all the companies are least popular. students are eligible for campus placement from day 1. they can apply for intership wjen they are in 1st semester. the average pakage a company can provide is 3-4LPA. the percentage of students get placed by the placement cell is about 70% because the company's expectations are not this high secondly the crowd of the college is good they easily cracks the interview. my plan is to go in either graphics or in MBA in HRM after the Graduation

Fees and Financial Aid

the fee is very reasonable of college of vocational studies. we only have to give rupess 13000 per year it covers both the semester of one year apart from this there is an examination fee of rupees 1000 which we need to give once before the exam. there is not as such scholarship provided by college but yes once i heard two teachers talking about that if a person is really needy and smart ofcourse then only they provide them scholarship. the fee don't increase per year the total fee would be around 40k of entire 3 year graduation.

Campus Life

4.5

the overall experience is great the vibes the terror of assignments and viva and presentations the feeling of fest the club event the club meeting the fun he enjoyment after party inductions it all add up and make the college life worth it the annual festival name of our college is TATVA it help once in a year ut get held in the month of February. all type of books are available in the Library even the story books and ofcourse course related books are mandatory. the campus also offer sports and extracurricular activities as well . there are number of societies as per the student's intrest they can join environment society, entrepreneurship board, dance, music, art and craft , photography and what not

Admission

i applied for many other courses and colleges like miranda house, st Stephens hansraj. i was looking to pursue English honours in all three colleges as i wanted to make career in the same field on the 100 preference i put this course and luckily i got in. i was happy to do something new other than a typical graduation english Honors course. the best thing about this college was it has the course i wanted to persue after English honours. the second best thing was the crowd of South campus. and the affordability of this college and course was charry on top. i gave CUET to get admission into this college. after that i filled my preference sheet and yeah i got in.

Faculty

2.5

faculty of college if vocational studies is around 100 more than that ig. a teacher sometimes gets to teach 2 students sometimes 100 students it all depends on the importance of classes. ms NEETI HOODA is the one i like the most because she knows how to manage college going students she doesn't make fuss about the attendance issue and always take class on time if a student is late for the class she allows them in and take minimal projects doesn't make a fuss about anything i like taking her classes. we got atleast 7 subjects in our course.

Other Applied Colleges

college of vocational studies | BA(VOC) HRM

i always wanted to become part of South campus because of the crowd vibes and the hangout spots obviously. cherry on top was getting the course of my own choice

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
