really nice and relevant ciriculum subjects like proffessional communication get you industry ready and also a lot of enterprenurship opurtunities . the subjects like physics and chemistry are irrelevant to computer students so maybe consider removing them . exams are 2 times a semester called mst (mid sem test ) and end sem test on and average you will have 4-5 classes per day lying between 8:00 a.m to 5:10 p.m

Will be paying 297500 per semester and 595000 per year plus 30000 for admission fee 1400 was the application form fee which was regarded as non - refundable . i have opted for COE COURSE And will be paying 2380000/- as the total tution fee over 4 years . 73800 /- is the hostel fee per semester .i have opted for single seater non-ac room with common washrooms other options offered to boys included 4 seater ac with common washrooms with fee being 65900/- per semester the tution fee structure was as follows :- COE , CSE,CSBS,ENC - 2380000/- ECE,EEC,EVD,RAI - 2160000/- OTHERS - 1820000/-

TIET has some of the best infrastructure to offer to it's students with all the sports facilities known to man including a full-sized swimming poll. the classrooms are fully ac (almost all) equipped with projectors tvs and speakers ad charging points for studenets . the institute orgamizes plenty of hackathons and other events including diwali event in all the hostels

bed, matresses ,charing points, table chair,almirah all are provided . mess food quality ia amazing and i am curremtly living in hostel j also known as tejas hall the hostrl can be opted via the webkiosk and is alloted according to ur cgp or score

i had a confirmed admission from vit vellore in cse branch with a level 4 scholarship but still decided to go to TIET cause of it having less number of students and more oppurtunities and it being close to home . i am also very interested in doing enterprenurship and thapar has one of the best enterpreurship cells compared to other institues i had a confirmed admission from . TIET basically offers admission through jee as well as boards you shoul've minimum 60% aggregate in physics , chemistry and maths to be eligible to apply . jee mains is most preferred by students

really intelligent and smart faculty maybe somtimes oversmart and all department teachers expect mechanical and civil are really chill and cool. especially all the lab and tutorial faculty is really amazing . the faculty to student ratio is 1:30 really approchable and kind faculty .
