- The peer group is very competitive and the placement are also up to the mark.
- The sports facilities are also decent and have majority of sports
- Campus is small which is good for me because we don't have to travel more for going from oneplace to another
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is not much good .it is only decent and gym facilities are also below average
- The mess of hostel is not that good and hygienic
- There is a single playground for cricket ,football , volleyball etc
Course Curriculum Overview
Electronics and communication engineering is a branch which will boom in future and this branch has 2 opportunities one in core sector and other in tech sector .that's why I choose this branch. The currirculum is just average but it not makes you industry ready There should be regularly visits in the industry to gain the real time experience The exam are held twice in each semester one in mid and one at the end of semester
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are good here but the internship is allowed for only 3rd and 4th year students .many top companies like Google, Morgan stanley ,visa , Amazon visit our campus for internship and they offer handsome stipend like around 1 lac and most of the jobs are related to tech field like software developer , data analyst etc
Placement Experience
Student at nit patna become eligible for placement from 7 th semester .many top companies visit here for placement like Google , Microsoft ,Adobe ,visa ,Deloitte, jo Morgan etc In 2024 the highest package till now is around 55 lpa by Microsoft which is pre placement offer and in 2023 the highest package was 45 lpa and average stood out at 12 lpa Around 87-88% have placed in 2023 After Getting the degree i want to work with top MNC so I will work hard and focus on upskilling myself
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise tuition fees is 125000 for all students whose family income is more than 5 lac .At the time of admission you have to pay 156000 including hostel and mess and some other fees like examination fees development fee ,etc.but after after this from next semester you have to pay. Around 1 lac including hostel and mess If your family income is below 1 lac then you will get a full remission on tuition fees and if your family income is between 1 and 5 lac then you have to pay 1/3 of tuition fees no matter what is your category.
Campus Life
In our college many fests occurs time to time ,cultural and technical both .our technical and cultural fests are corona and melange respectively .these are around before November . There is a big library in our college and lacs of books and journals are available here and can be issued very easily The classroom are fully air conditioned and there is a projector in almost all class The sports facilities are decent and there are many active clubs for extra curricular activities like singing ,dancing ,drama etc
Admission
I choose NIT patna over other colleges because firstly it is a NIT so it has a brand value and bihar is my home state , and I got a circuital branch here and the placement are very good here I can get other top nit easily but not with top branch because my rank was not enough to get into that . The admission in my college is done through josaa counselling after qualifying jee mains. The minimum percentile for just entering the college is around 96.4 for general and minimum percentile for cse is 98.9 for general category students
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio of nit Patna is around 1:15 and the faculties are quiet approachable as they have given their contact information. I like my chemistry and electronics workshop faculty namely khurseed Alam and a kumar as they are chill and quiet a good explainer There are 2 exams in each semester ,mid sem and end sem the exam are of medium level
