The college is progressing at a rapid rate in every field in recent times under the guidance of new principal Dr. Jagdanand Jha. The various groups of the college are working in coordination with each other and providing students a good platform to showcase their talent.

Entrance Exam

The current curriculum is excellent. It has provisions for industrial training and project work in the final year. The university which regulates this college is Aryabhatta knowledge university. It follows a semester exam system which conducts exam twice a year - in May-June and then in December- January. The examination is of subjective type of 70 marks in each subject. Rest 30 marks are of internal assessments held in college before the university exam. The practical exams are held just after the university exams. The college provides a degree in Bachelor of pharmacy and leather technology too.

A good number of companies visit the campus every year. Companies offer opportunities to every engineering branch of the college. There are a training and placement cell in the college. Companies like prism Johnson Ltd. have offered handsome salaries to the students in the past. Wipro and Tata Motors have also recruited students of the college. The college has an industrial training in its curriculum. The students have to choose the firm of their choice where they want to work- for which they might or might not get any stipend. I did my training in Bihar Rajya Pul Nirman Nigam Ltd. - a government organization. I didn't get any stipend but the experience was highly valuable.

There are different clubs like a sports club, startup cell, technical club - moxie and cultural club - Junoon. Various events like indoor, outdoor game competitions, painting, photography, online contests, and startup pitching sessions are held regularly in the college. The college hosts seminars where prominent speakers come from various fields.

The fee structure is quite feasible. The OBC, SC, ST and minority students get the scholarship from the state government which compensates almost all their expenses on the college and the hostel fee. The students have to pay a small examination fee each semester.

I get the post matric scholarship offered by the welfare department, the government of Bihar. This is a state scheme of the national scholarship portal. The state government has also launched a student credit card scheme to help the students.

Labs have good infrastructure. The college has a library, a gymnasium, and a bank too. Various sporting activities like Pubg tournaments, cricket, volleyball, badminton, face painting tournaments, etc. are organized. There is an annual techfest in the college too which provides a great number of contests. The news of these events catch the headlines of local newspapers.

I spent six months in the College hostel. The infrastructure of the hostel was good. Regular facilities like laundry, mess, etc. are easily available. The girl's hostel is very secure with CCTV cameras. All the hostels are non-ac with single /double/ triple occupancy.

The alumni network of the college is strong. Many people from the college hold prominent positions in the government and private sectors. They pay a visit to the college regularly and some of them have offered help and opportunities to the fellow students as well.

The faculties of the college are experts in their field. They are highly qualified and they have great passion and skill to teach students. They are very supportive and solve the doubts of students eagerly. Recently a great number of new faculties have joined the college.
