Brand IIT

Our college is determined to be one of the best colleges in India in the next 10 years. Being new IIT there is infrastructure development going on in campus which makes some problems but that's okay. Hope we will become one day a good engineer.

Course curriculum is good. We have a balance between theory an lab classes. In the First year all branches are taught same subjects. In a particular semester we have 3-4 theory and 4-5 practicals. Our Exam patterns are based on IIT DELHI. We have 2 Minors and 1 Major. Besides these we have Assignments and Surprise quizzes.

As our college is among 3rd Generation IIT, Our first placement session is going to held on this December but we are expecting a decent placement here. Regarding internships, many students have done internships either provided by the college or by themselves. Last year 2 students have done their internship in France.

We are brand IIT and this strengthens our beliefs in Sports and cultural fests. We have our sports Fest "Convoquer " which is an intra college sports fest. Every branch has its own team in every sport. They compete with each other in a true sportsman spirit. We are going to Organize our first Technical fest this march " Technunctus'19 " in which Many colleges showcase their technologies.

The fee structure is quite expensive but being a government college we have a lot of scholarships and facilities. Based on parents income fees get changed and there are also facilities for SC/ST students. Besides this, we have to pay for the hostel and mess.

There are lots of scholarships available. One is Merit cum means scholarships which I have got on the basis of parents income. Based on parents income fees get changed, it gets highly reduced. This is a major advantage of a government college.

There are a large number of clubs in IIT. What you think and we are doing something in that field. We have our Social group doing great for society. We have a Robotics club, SAE club, Coding club, literature club, Debating club. Sports equipment is in good numbers. Our labs are developing at a faster rate. We have a huge computer lab.

Yes IIT's are fully residential. Being a new IIT this is an advantage. We have newly built buildings as our hostel which is very good. The bathrooms are clean and tidy. There is 1 room for 2 people. We have washing machines in every washroom, water coolers are there. Hostel facilities are amazing here.

Our senior students are great. Mainly who are in 3rd year. They have done many great works in the past and going good. They have won Rank 1 in Coding Hackathon in IIT BOMBAY. They are very helpful, I personally get many times to help from them.

The faculty is quite good here. We have lots of good and knowledgeable professors who work hard to deliver their knowledge to us. We have a good physics faculty based on their Research capabilities. Almost Ever week we have some Visiting Faculty from IIT DELHI which helps us to boosts our knowledge.
