Fees and Financial Aid:

Fee are high as compared to other government state colleges. Which are not good thing. Total fee is ?1200000 for a gen/obc/EWS for income more than ?500000 per anum. For 1 to 5 lpa income of parents fee is about ?650000, for below 1lpa is ?400000. Increasing fee per year is 7%.

The fee is like every other iit not expensive. 7% fee hike every year in tuition fees. There are various scholarships available for everybody and can be read about on the IIT Jammu websites. Merit cum needs, Free messing, Tuition fees waiver.

There are lots of scholarships available. One is Merit cum means scholarships which I have got on the basis of parents income. Based on parents income fees get changed, it gets highly reduced. This is a major advantage of a government college.
