MY LIFE IN NIT AGARTALA

I'm from computer science engineering branch ,I chose this course because of my intrest in this field , The curriculum is nicely prepared and the teachers are also very nice ,some of our faculty is well recognised around the world and our placement for this course is also the proof of our excellency . Though it's not complete and there's also of area of improvement , according to me The students should be taught the practical use of this course to make them industry ready . Exams timings are good and we get enough time to prepare for our exams .

My feelings structure is around 79000 for 1st sem but I'm currently getting fee waiver of 2/3rd of my course fee because I belong from general category and my income is below 5 lac.my friend who is from general category and his income is below 1 lac has no course fee in my college.

My experience at NIT Agartala has been quite enriching and memorable. The campus is well-equipped with all the necessary infrastructure, including modern classrooms, well-maintained hostels, and various sports facilities. The presence of a market, restaurants, and shops within the campus makes daily life convenient. Campus life is vibrant with numerous clubs and societies catering to diverse interests, such as robotics, drama, fine arts, and social service3. The annual cultural fest, Advaitm, and the technical fest are major highlights, offering students a platform to showcase their talents and unwind from academic pressures.

Hostel for first year is RNT hostel. It's newly built and fully well equipped hostel with all the necessary things. Rooms are spacious and are double sharing for first year and single Sharing after 3rd year . Meal for first year is okayish and you'll have to rely on food from outside . We have to register for hostel through MIS section and then do payment from there , we'll get our rooms alloted randomly through portal.its fully automated.

I got into this college through my jee mains score ,I was getting NIT patna CSE but I chose this college over that cuz I wanted to come here cuz of the extensive campus of 365 acres and its excellent sports facilities . To get into this college you have to give jee mains and then go through jossa counseling and then you have to come here , you'll go through physical verification and then you can join this college .

The faculty to students ration is good but in first year ,The classes are big nd a single class consists of around 90-100 students. Our physics faculty Kalyan sir is nice teacher ,DDR teaches us mechanics , he's also very educated and teaches us well. Some of the teachers in first years are from PhD students due to shortage of teachers , those are not very experienced in teaching . We have class test and quiz every month and a mid term and an end term in 1 semester , the difficulty of these exams are not very high and it's easy to score good marks .
