Course Curriculum Overview

As I've always wanted to study civil engineering so I've no regrets with it, and I think civil engineering dept as a whole is very pronounced and imthe professor never fails to provides valuable knowledge to the students

There are many interships opportunities available with the college. Interships are solely based on the students field of interest. The college helps by providing the Letter of recommendation and giving more knowledge and guidance regarding the internship opportunities

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees per semester varies between 6500 and 9500 for ST students including Grade card fee-500 Student activity fee-1000 Communication skill fee-1000 Medical fee-1200 Hostel fee is 30000 per semester. Scholarship benefits depends on the student category and also the annual income of parents.

Campus Life

Our college offers various club opportunities including career development, cultural club, sports clubs and many more. I personally am a sports enthusiasts so I think the college is doing a great job in providing the facilities for every sports and also the clubs.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms for final year's depends on the rank system. Room has one study table, one bed and one cupboard. Hostel food is very poor to spit the truth, it couldn't have been much better compared to the fees we pay for mess.

Admission

This was my first choice and that too with civil engineering as my branch. As I've mentioned earlier, I've always wanted to study civil engineering and I felt that Agartala would be the best option for me as I wasn't really interested to go too far from my state.

Faculty

All the facilities are equally furnished whennut comes to their perspective field of teaching. I don't dislike any professor, I'd rather say all of them are very skilled and professional and has a keen interest in educating the students. And the marking system is more or less at pace because they give marks fairly.

The placement in our college could certainly improve and the student body alongside the Placement Cell are working on that. Oftentimes a lot of MBA graduates get the highest package and oftentimes students from BTech get the highest package

Best technical institute in Tripura

Placement Experience:

Every year placements happen and about 80 percent of the total students of the institute get placed in various dream tier and other companies with good packages. The packages depend on year to year, more specifically on hiring trends. I still did not make a decision for my post degree plans.

Placement Experience:

From third year students are eligible for campus placement and internships. Many companies visit like Microsoft , CISCO , L&T , Mahindra etc . Highest package offered was 52lpa in tech and 20lpa in core and average package is 9lpa. Around 75% student get placed . My plan is to do M.tech by qualifying GATE exam .

Placements are good enough if you if your skills are much better than others if your CG is at least above them 8.5 then you will definitely get a good package so many companies comes to our college including Microsoft Google Amazon etc.. highest package of last year is 68 lpa

NIT Agartala is one of the most prettiest colleges in India!!

Placement Experience:

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.

placements are moderate in this college. many seniors got an opportunity of internship in google and different prestigious companies. you can be eligible for internships and placements in 5th semester. i thing highest pacake if 70 lakh from google and 12 lakh is average package from computational mathematics branch. and recently 22 lakh package has been taken by our senior by phonep company. i just want an internship in my 3rd year in an tech company and want to get placed in the 4th year. I thing above 90% students get placed in our college

It is long journey of hard work how i get in this college and course . First I qualified JEE main but not got good rank so I got Biotech branch in NIT Agartala according to my rank . But I studied well in first year and scored a high CGPA and slided my branch to Mechanical . I have in all top NITs but not got a ceat there . Admission is only through JEE main rank . JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

When I was applying to collleges, I appeared for JEE Mains and applied to other NITS and IIITS , My aim wwas to secure admission in reputed national institutes with good placements. I got admission in NIT Agartala(ECE Branch),which i chose over other colleges because of NIT brand value, national-level peer group, alumini network. I couldn't make it to the top tier NITS and IIITS as my JEE rank was slightly higher than their cutoff range. The competition is extremely tough and even a few marks can make huge difference in rank. The admission process is conducted through JoSAA/CSAB councelling based on score, For btech admission,JEE main is the accepted and most prefrred exam. The basic eligibilty is passing 10+2 wiht Physics ,Chemistry and Maths. Cutoff vary depending on category and branch.
