Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I would not lie it was just my feelings who let me choose this subject. It helps us in like engaging with others to make friends and for studies too. The only thing i dont like about the classes is tgere are so many students in some classes that nobody can concentrate they should either take two classes of same subject same day or same subject two diffrerent days. It's just my first year and everyone is already talking about exmas already.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid fee for 2 semester is 8470 B.A. Programme with english Tuition Fee: 50 University Student Welfare Fund: 200 College Student Welfare Fund: 150 University Development Fund: 1000 College Development Fund: 800 University Facilities & Services Charges: 1000 College Facilities & Services Charges: 2850 Economically Weaker Section Support University Fund: 150 Examination Fee: 1820 As an eco-friendly incentive, students who do not wish to take Study Material in printed form will be given a rebate of Rs.400/- under "College Facilities and Services Charges. Various scholarships: South Campus Endowment Scholarship Rotary Club Scholarship AIPGS UPGS National Scholarship (Zoology) National Scholarship (Economics) DSE Merit (Economics)

Campus Life

3

I'm still new to it I'm 1st year students so i don't about that much but I'm sure like the colleges and teachers everything will be nice. I have just taken my 3 classes it's on every Sunday it's kind of new to me to experience this but im happy. I have heard there is library in the college but i never went. I'm sure my rest of the college life will be full of happiness and surprises.

Admission

I applied for both amity university and Islamia University and du sol. I got selected for all of them but i chose this bcoz it is near from my house and both of them are far from my house and also the fee is comparatively lesser than both of the colleges. I do applied for hansaraj college but i got rejected because my percentage for the subject u chose was not enough. The process to get the admission in this college is u can simply apply for it online and offlime bothe i applied for it online and I got selwcted and i paid fee the eligibitlity of the courses are different, anyone can apply for the BA course and the most preferred exam by me is english and cutsoff and these are not applicable i guess. The overall admission experience was quite good and one more thing if u think u cnt study tha subject u can even change the subject before the last date of submission.

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
