Course Curriculum Overview
The courses are comprehensive and give a good idea on the field of study. Few professors might not to conduct class tests or surprise tests might it completely depends on the faculty. By the end of a course, you would be knowing its real-life application and scope
Internships Opportunities
From fourth semester you become eligible to sit for internships. Similar to placements many companies from different domains visit every year offering stipend upto 1.5 lacs per month. Few students from here are also selected for ppo
Placement Experience
From seventh semester students are eligible to sit for placements. Companies are brought by Career Development Cell of IIT BHUBANESWAR. More than 100 companies of different domains visit every year. Few of these are Google, nvidia, samsung, Zomato, Accenture Japan, psu etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees per semester: rs.1,15,000 First year fees is a bit higher than usual OBC students can get 2/3rd of their fees remitted given if parents ' income is less than 8lpa Sc/st students can avail scholarships and fee remissions
Campus Life

Hostel Facilities
Everyone gets single room accomodation with 24/7 wifi and ethernet facilities. Hostel condition is good, better than most iits. Caterer is changed every 2 years to ensure quality food. Menu includes variety of dishes both south and north indian
Admission
IIT Bhubaneswar is well-known for its Electrical engineering department which made me choose it. They offer comprehensive curriculum covering all major topics. Admission process was online and required to pay the fees beforehand
Faculty
All the faculties have done post doctorate and are well-versed in their respective courses. They can be easily approached for any clarification regarding both academic and career related queries. Each semester has a mid sem and an end sem. The curriculum is similar to other iits and follows mit's exam pattern.
