Since establishmnt, JEC was under dibrugrh univrsty. Now it is under Assam State Techncl uni, ghy. For complete degree, u have to pass 8 sem exam with minimium 50% mark in each sem. Exam pattern is subjective type

Placements for the students of all the branches are good. The students of the mechanical and civil departments get placed in Oil companies and PSUs. The students of the computer science department are also offered with some placement opportunities. Yes they aslo provide intershp facility. And travel cost n fooding cost also provide by College

The main tech-cultural event is Phoenix. Every year phoenix is organized by students' union. Robotics, gaming gods, street dance, bihu dance, bike stunt, quiz, unplugged song, rock song, 6 on 6 football, cricket are also included in phoenix.

As compare to other enginnering colleges all over the india, fee structute of jec is very low. Odd sem fee is below 10000 and even sen fee is below 3000. And sem exam fee is 2000 +/-. Not too much fees.

50% of college students get scholarship like minority schlrshp for muslim sikh christian studnents, OBC schlrshp, SC schlrshp, ST schlrshp, Isham Uday , Tea garden schlrshp. Our college have SBI branch. They provide loan facility for poor students.

On march month college wk is organized by students union. Indoor and outdoor games like cricket football volleyball table tennis kabadi khoko long race hingh jump long jump etc. are played in college main ground

Yes i m a hostler. There are 8 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel and one boys hostel are under construction. Every hostel have 24 hours running water, electricity, high speed net facility (10mb/s) and good infrastructure.

Yes out college alumni are helpful. They serving all over the world from 1964. They provide financial help for their respective hostel. Manu of them visit hostel in vacation time. They take care of job aspring juniors.

After class 12 exam, I qualified CEE 2015 entrance exam conducted by Director of Technical Education Assam. Total marks was 300. 100 marks each in Math , Physics and chem. Aftr the xm , result was published n call for counselling.

Our college faculties are very good in teaching and aslo friendly. They use black board and chalk for teaching. Now , projector are aslo used for presentation. Teachers are helpful. They guide us in final year project.
