SOL student life

Curriculum is essential to guide teachers in what to teach, how much depth of knowledge is needed for that grade, and a a timeline to follow so the year will be completed. Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. Students should be exposed to solving problems they have not seen before but that can be solve with the content they have learned in class. This will help them develop problem solving strategies they will be able to use the rest of their lives.

I started the course of BA program with history from SOL Delhi. I was paid 8500 fees for my 1st year. I think that was high amount for SOL. Because last to last year the fees of same course of around 2500 to 3500. Now, the fees is very high. And sol not provide any benefit to students not providing internship also. They not give all the books on appointment date. As per the course the fees is very much high.

The college which I appointed from SOL is Shri Vivekananda College in alipur. There are two sides of college which is one new side and another one was old side. I have appointed for old side of college. Which is like adandend because that was very old building the classroom was weird the desk are not in good condition every class paint are also not well. The library of the college is good because it is in new side and the availablity of books are also good. There was no any technology in the classroom. We have no sports activities offered. The students are good but expect some students.

I choose this SOL Delhi college because I have low cuet score. The admission process is simple but the fees structure is very high according to open learning college. Firstly I applied for bca in Guru Gobind Singh indraprastha college from where I reject I have appointed in college of noida which is far away from my home. So I decided to take admission in Sol. In Sol we have to take classes on Sunday only which is not compulsory for all to attend it's on your choice whether you go or not. You have to go only on paper days which the sol is appointed college for you to do paper.

As I choose SOL Delhi . I have appointed Shri Vivekananda College. It's open me for Sunday only to attend the college. I don't known about college exam system and marking schemes. My exam college is another which I appointed to me before my exam. But I attend classes on Sunday from that point of view some members of college are very good and very helping nature but not all members.
