The marine engineering degree will give you an overall idea about mechanical engineering, electrical engineering,control engineering,AI and data science etc..cause a chief engineer(highest rank of a engineering officer in ship) is responsible for all of the machineries in a ship which include diesel engine,generator, pump,fuel oil system ,lube oil system ,fesh water generating system etc..The syllabus has changed for the 2024 entry batch which is more effective than ours so basically the college is improving regarding the curriculum of the course.

KiInternships are given by the companies after completing the course.After the course you need physical training such as fire fighting swimming etc...which will be offered by the companies and also by the college.

From the third semester onwards you can attempt placement interviews . companies like Chevron Pacific basin Mol Fleet management WSM NYK Torm tankers MSC Maersk SCI Etc... comes every year and gives more than 200 offers The package depends on the type of ship like if you are placed in oil tankers salary will be 1 lakh per month. If you are placed in container ships salary range will be (60k-80k). The college gives more than 90 percentage of placement. I want to join Pacific basin and clear my class 4 examination so that I can become a 4th engineer with a salary of 2 lakh per month.

Basically this is a residential course which means that the total fees which is 11lakh (152000 per even semester,122500 per odd semester) includes hostel fees, tution fees ,lab fees etc..and you will have to pay 30000rs for caution deposit in the beginning of the course. This campus don't offer any scholarship but if you are a female and you get placed there is a high chance that rest of your fees will be dealt by the company.Students like me apply for external scholarship such as reliance scholarship.I got 2 lakhs from reliance scholarship and there are many other options too.

Fests in college _________________ •Lithosphere(cultural fest)- October •tempest(technical fest,sports etc)-february •intersadan sports competition-october, November LIBRARY with the student id card you can take books which are there in the library .The library will be open on every working day from 8.00 to 21.00 it provides books related to marine engineering, mechanical engineering,electrical engineering also books related to crack upsc ,gate exam etc.. SPORTS the college offers sports like football, basketball, cricket,hockey,kabbadi,table tennis , badminton Volleyball etc.. CLUBS •chess club •bands club •technical club

The eligibility of the course is you should have 75 percentage in your 12th pcm and more than 50 percentage in your 10th for English and you have to clear the exam conducted by IMU which is imu cet.The application form will be send on the portal of IMU and the date of the examination will be on the month of June. Result will be declared after 2-3 weeks.The difficulty level of the examination is not that to worry about if you know the basics of 12th and 11th you can easily clear the examination and the exam will also contain general aptitude questions and both general knowledge questions.For general category you have to get a rank below 1000 and if you belong to obc category you should get a rank below 3000 and for sc and st it will be below 12000 .After that they will send you the allotment letter and you have to verify all of your documents from the college and after that admission Letter will be given and the classes will start on the month of August. This is not like other colleges you don't get a normal college life just like the other colleges but this college will make you a perfect senior and also plays a big role in character development.Only 900 students study here in this college which will give you the opportunities to join in many activities like even if you don't know to play any sports then the seniors will teach you how to play.There will be room checks one's in a week daily Fallin will be there Mon to sat you will have to do physical education in the morning (like yoga, running,calisthenics etc...)

There are both guest faculties and permanent facilities with higher qualification.The relationship between the faculty and a student is really good we can approach them whenever we want.prof.pradeep raja is one of my favourite faculty he had helped me in my doubts regarding wind propulsion and also I have approached him to solve doubt about my project for smart India hackathon. There will be more than 8 subjects in a semester.Exams are tough but professors will help you to clear them 20-30 percent of a batch are unable to clear all the subjects.

Group discussions will not be there during the admission.The administration will inform us about the admission through emails.No need to worry about the admission process just take all required documents with you both copy and original.
