- First and foremost it's the seniors as Kalindi College is not among the top rated colleges and therefore to keep up the ante, the seniors are best mentors here.
- Courses are in abundance here and one can find any course of his/her chocie here.
- Friendly and welcoming versed nature of the faculties have won almost every student's heart here.
Dislikes
- Well it has to be college infrastructure as not just it's small, it isn't that clean too.
Course Curriculum Overview
Well History has always fascinated me and learning the deep history other than the Mughals was always my wishlist. It's sad that not many people take our course or think it isn't required. If you don't know your history every thing else is meaning less and our course have shown the dark side of Mughals and have glorified our kings. Hence, i just want to them add even more as we need more of it.
Placement Experience
History students don't get much placements opportunities to be honest. Some history professors or the history content creators are the ones who offer jobs to us. A lot has to be bargain as maximum we could get is 5-6 lakhs a year, initially at least.
Fees and Financial Aid
At Kalindi College or for that matter any college of DU fees is defined by DU. So, you can choose any college and for BA Hons the fees will staybthe same. I paid close to 27k a year. At Kalindi College for students who can't afford the fees, MATA AMRITA NANDA MAYA scholarship is awarded and they don't have to pay a single paisa to study here.
Campus Life
Library is the only facility in the campus which is air-conditioned as classrooms or canteens doesn't have ACs. The campus is quite small but at least there are washrooma on each floor. The small but a facilitated auditorium is there at the campus. From orientation to freshers party events are plenty that are held all throughout the year.
Admission
I applied for JMC (Jesus and Marry College) but the cut off for JMC was 730 and I managed just 683 at CUET. I could have got some other colleges but after missing out on JMC, I stuck with Kalindi as it was in the vicinity of my home.
Faculty
Well versed is the first word that comes into my mind and then it would be their helpful nature. Our facilities feel as if helping others is an act of God and therefore they don't just treat us right but yes, they also are the best person to go for advice as well.
