What Students Say
Likes
- Locality of the college, canteen, library, campus was decent
- Faculties are good if you pay attention, extra curricular activities and clubs
- Students are mixed you have to choose your own group wisely

- Faculty, teaching methods and cooperation of faculties
- Infrastructure was not good and could have been better
- No placement or internship options were given in the college
Course Curriculum Overview
Not good. It is better if you opt for honours courses, but the BA Program, I will not recommend. The classes are not held regularly. Teachers are not serious and most of the times the classes are cancelled. There are lot of things to improve like the faculties, attendance area and the exam pattern is 2 exam per year
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for a semester is Rs7500. So total for 3 years it is 45000. Registration fees was Rs250 at that time. And for SC/ST the fees keeps varying. For lates detail of fee structure please contact the college or university for the exact details. If you opt for honours course the fees will be 8000-9000 per semester. There were no scholarships options.
Campus Life
There were no fests and festivals celebrated as such. There are books in the library but they are mostly not in stock. The canteen is good. Its cheap but good in quality and also a decent level of hygiene is maintained. Inter college sportes events are held and also you can get into student politics.
Admission
I applied to few other government colleges but didn't got seat. As my hometown is Guwahati, Assam so I applied in Tezpur University also but didn't get seat. So I thought Delhi University would be a great option but little did I know that only the top colleges of DU are good. Admission process was smooth. No exam, no orientation. But now you have to clear CUET.
Faculty
Faculty is very less and non cooperative. The students are on their own. There was no minimum attendance. Students come to give exam and assignments only. There are exams semester based and 6 semester exams in total. The difficulty is hard.
Other Applied Colleges
Tezpur University - [TU] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] + Master of Arts [MA] (English Language)
I didn’t get admission
