- The campus overall as it so well structured and organized that one can easily find admin office to classrooms even if they are visiting the campus for the first time.
- Some industrial labs have been set up recently as the curriculum now is industry influenced at GEU.
- So many good joints close to the campus and all of them so affordable that students will never gave much burden on their pocket.
Dislikes
- Not many societies and clubs at GEU are active which ideally they should be.
Course Curriculum Overview
Well firstly it's the demand supply case and then I saw the students with top packages, all are from CSE branch and that was more than enough for me. Our curriculum has a lot of influence straight from the industries of our space. Time to time industrial people come for guest lectures and letting us know what skill sets and what all is required currently. IT is a sector where uncertainties hang but we our course teaches us all to find the way out.
Fees and Financial Aid
At 5lakhs a year and 20 lakhs in all for CSE from GEU, isn't a bad deal as students of GEU has bagged packages wothe doble or even thrice of it. From army background students to SC/Students everyone gets 15-30% scholarships. Students with national level sports participation gets upto 50% scholarships as well.
Campus Life
Nearly 3-4 fests and GRAFEST being the best of them all. Sports wise a minimum sports indoor complex, basketball courts and a ground which is multi-purpose. Labs are multiple and so are the canteens as there are 3 canteens inside the main campus. Societies and clubs like the Ekana club and the debate club is there. Dance societies to NCC everything is lines up for students at the GEU campus.
Admission
I came to Dehradun and looked at all the private universities like BFIT, ICFAI, UPES, and DIT apart from GEU. I found GEU to be the best and even though they donhave an entrance but direct admissions are also possible here. So one can apply online or the best according to me would be to visit the campus and meet a counsellor. Withing minutes one can confirm their admissions.
Faculty
Rich dynamic and what all adjectives should I use as faculties here are nothing short of being called stunning. What special teaching prowess and equally supportive at the same time. CSE is a new generation course and more than experience I feel it's the one who can improvise are required and our faculties are so damn great at this aspect.
