- GEU has best landscapes not just inside the campus but around it too.
- Classes are always full as students don't come here for classes due to strict attendance but because we all enjoy the classes.
- Placements in GEU in recent past have surpassed many top established universities of North like the Thapar and the Chandigarh University.
Dislikes
- The area Clement town has become too crowded and therefore the locality of the college always have noise issues.
Course Curriculum Overview
I don't see many margins or error as sometimes the gap during the classes and leser holidays are something which I feel should be fixed. Besides that everything is in order as the number of lectures, lecture timings all are great here. Even the exams timings and dates have remained the same since inhave joined.
Placement Experience
IBM, Microsoft, Adobe from global tech giants and TCS, Tech Mahindra and Infosys from domestic IT leaders are the topmost companies for placements at GEU. Students are placed in the fifth semester itself and those who are left the college arranged a mass placement drive and makes sure that maximum studnets of the college have an offer letter.
Fees and Financial Aid
GEU is the most expensive university of Uttarakhand and rightly so as the university gives us more than 5lakh per year that we pay to sydiy here. For general category its 5 lakhs otherwise there are a lot of scholarships through which one can cut their fees significantly.
Campus Life
Facilities wise, GEUbhas nothing left in the tank. It's hard to point what is more perfect, like it's the classrooms or the labs, both are equally good. Library or the auditorium again both are equally good. Indoor sports facilities or the outdoor sports ground, again both are exemplary. All in all, GEU has ticked all boxes on infrastructure front. Fests wise, all the festivals are celebrated as Navratri and Dussehra both were celebrated recently and so will be the upcoming festivals like Diwali and Christmas too will be celebrated at the campus.
Admission
There are many ways a student can become eligible for GEU. One is University's entrance test, other is JEE score and third is direct admissions. If one comes through entrance, some discount on fees is offered. I took direct admissions here and it's like one of the easiest thing because not one but multiple admission counselling people are always available at the campus.
Faculty
Audacious is the quality that I feel faculties needs and the way they have wreathes themselves, I will say that we have a finest set of them. From male to female professors all are professional and have been at professional companies before becoming a full time faculty.
