Course Curriculum Overview
I am obsessed with engineering and that was the reason right from my school days, i spent most time on my machines. Coding I started learning during school days and I was more so adamant on learning coding full throttle. Our curriculum is far better than many as industry experts or the leaders even share what kind on man power they want and they have set-up the labs accordingly.
Placement Experience
Many international conglomerate have now partnered with GEU. This has made things quite easy and placements cell should be credited for that. The skil sets and the communication skills required to garner jobs in global conglomerate like Cognizant, Adobe and others are taught to us right from the second semester. The average is around 8 lakhs or so but some genulius students have managed to gets placements worth 50+ lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
Every year students get scholarship here and since I have scored 9+ CGPA, i got 15% scholarship this year. So the fees which is 5 lakhs I just had to pay 4.25 lakhs. Likewise, SC/ST students get 20% discount and plus if they qualify for CGPA scholarship, then get even further discount on the fees.
Campus Life
GRAFEST is so big that students from other cities too come and enjoy our fest. Top singers and bollywood celebrities are invited. Top politicians too are invited as our university's stake holders are well connected. Now the university isn't as big like spread in acres or something but have every thing required for academics and entertainment.
Admission
Admission here are mostly direct and yes they do ask if we have given any entrance. If yes, student till certain rank are given direct admissions and also 12th result also helps in getting admissions here. The minimum eligibility though isn't much and the entire admission thing is like nine pins. Everything falls in order once the admission form is filled and fees is paid.
Faculty
Deepak and Prakash sir are everyone's favourites. There's a long list of professors though as around 20 odd professors have already taught us in five semesters that I have spent at GEU. Nearly these many will be seeing in the reaming three semesters. Course is tough as scoring ain't that easy here. Twice the semester exams and plus internals and all, so it's like exams every other week.
