Course Curriculum Overview
as stated before the course is designed to improve in 4 years and increasing skill set , it include many key aspects like deep learing , machine leraning , dsa , advance dsa , from basic to a good level to knowledge is provided in it .
Internships Opportunities
we get internships from 2 nd years to 3 years from college and summer / winter internship we get the chance to grab it ourselves , college supports us wiy all help related placement and internship , a seperate departemnt is made for it thapar placement cell.
Placement Experience
last year highest package was around 54+ lpa , which is on campus , offcamous 2 students got 1.2 cr package , average was around 13 lpa and mean was 11.9 lpa . for computer related branches its more the average.
Fees and Financial Aid
the fee comes at a higher side , around 327000 persem for computer related branches , for branches related to electronics and eletrical engneering its around 300000. for branches like mechnical its around 270000 . scholarship is provided to a good amount of student to be half of tution fee on merit based , there is also full fee wavier for selected few , merit cum need scholarship is also provided .
Campus Life
there are loads of clubs you can choose from from outing to tech clubs and even in electronics and mechanical clubs . campus life of thapar is great its one of the aspects of why i chose thapar over other colleges .
Hostel Facilities
hostel for first years is not at top level but are very nice , but from 2nd years onwards wew get hostels on par with hotels , its like 4 star hotels you live in with all types of facalities ,from washing cloaths to dinoing and night canteen.
Admission
so my jee score was not good to get in top nits top branches , the choice i had was between noit lower branches or thapar cse , i choose thapar beacuse of its good alumni network and placement par with nits .
Faculty
there is relative grading in campus , so its a bit easier to score , course is designed to improve you in 4 years , its records all types of collabrations with differents companies and work force to help you get good experience helping you to nurture further.
