A lot of good with little bad.

College is over all good, it's not like it's totally rubbish. It's not like it's totally great. You can find a lot good and little bad in this entire segment of engineering. You won't find rubbish crowd, poor surrounding and rash behaviour of teaching staff. Even director and head bodies are helpful.

Course curriculum is on credit basis, most of the subjects are similar to other BTech institutions. But symbosis offers some parallel courses in the curriculum like disaster management, cyber security service learning etc. The subjects are compulsory but they're interesting. Exam structure is exactly similar to other BTech colleges which is internal examination and external examination. Maintaining 75% of attendance is compulsory in symbiosis. If 75% is not acquired, you can't appear for external examination. For gaining score in internals, there are assignment project reports and other stuffs also. College also takes for various visits which are related to the subject. The laboratories are good. But some of them are not well equipped. College tries to cover each and every experiment.

Symboises ensures about good job placements. But as per the discussions and reviews about the placements heard by the seniors, they are not up to the mark or maybe expectations from the interviewers must be high.

College celebrates Reverb, which is the biggest cultural event. It also celebrates inter University sports leagues which almost covers all the variety of sports. Even like squash. There is also tech fest, where all departments work hard for presenting the new trends.

Fee structure is sort of expensive, comparing the fees with other technical institutes, it's little high. Currently I pay around 2.3 lakhs annually. There is no any sort of reservation for any caste but there's is 5% reservation for handicapped students. Each and every student here pays the same fees.

As far as scholarship, college provides exchange program for some students. I didn't took any loan functionality, I am not aware about it. But I think symbosis surely offer loan functionalities or installment pays.

Sports and health activities are extremely good. Don't find any single sports which is not available at symbiosis. Can get a good class experience of each sport. Extra curricular activities are taken very seriously symbiosis. Service learning like subjects which are included for general awareness of society are taken prior like component in semester. Laboratories are not up to the mark. Considering mechanical, there are not 100% working labs. Some of them also have outdated versions of software.

Hostels are really good but the rates are also good. Facilities which are available near hostels high priced. Having hostel facility makes you easier to enjoy all the sports functionalities and gym. The college environment is extremely beautiful and green. There is no such issues of polluted surrounding.

Seniors are quite helpful. I didn't find any ragging scene in symbiosis. Seniors sometimes help in events and curricular activities. They're also helpful in sharing the notes and study related data. I myself was not in that much contact with seniors. But yes, they're helpful

Some of the faculties in the college are extremely nice. They also offer to work under several experiments or research papers. Teaching staff really works hard for the lectures. Electronic media is also used for teaching. Little sort of internal politics also carries out inside the semester. But it can be easily neglected.
