Engineering in a nitshell

The college is over all good, stated in the centre of the city with food availability and stationary st hand too. Just that if the college hostel were inside the campus it would have been better for the students.

The course ciriculum is not according to what the market demands but it isn’t completely out dated as well it a mix of old and the new but not exactly the right mixture. The examinations are simple every year we have 2 semesters and each semester there are practical and theory subjects. The theory is divided in three parts 1)Internals of 10 marks 2)Mid Semesters of 20 marks and 3)End semesters of 70 marks The practical is divided into 1)20 marks of lab presence and work 2)15 marks for file 3)65 marks for viva-voce

The placements and Job offers are good in campus and is much easier to land a job from campus selection as compared to off campus selection and the professor incharge does a good job in bringinng in new companies every year for students to get a wider spectrum of roles in job which they would want to do. Be it a core or a non core sector.internships are also provided but for that the students need to face interview and get shortlisted for the post

The events are mainly the same however the annual cultural and technical fest happens from 20-27th january every year consisting of about 72 events in this span of time of which all the judges are from outside and a pro in the field. Cultural non cultural personality hunt technical and non technical events ending with and edm night and the last day with a band night where all the students and professors have a blast.

The odd semester fee is 65,500 and even semester fee is 62,500 for the course it is feasible and with the opportunity and exposure provided the fee is justified for.Also for meritorious studetnts of each section there is scholarship provided.

The first is the top two students of every class get a 60% scholarship every semester.And apart from this there are multiple other scholar ships which are given by state and central govt. the loan facility is given by many banks too at an interest rate of upto 12% eg: Allahabad bank hDFC bank Canara bank etc.

The extra curricular are really good from the cultural and technical fest to te intramural inter departmental sports mert both which are organised by the students body under the guidance of professors .

I have not opted for the hostel.but from what i know about the hostel the hostel rooms are small the water facility is not always available however there is no power cut whatsoever as current line is directly from the power house the food quality of the mess is just the same as other and is very poor,

The annual alumni meet happens incollege where all the seniors who have passed out do come and interact with current students and it is a hood oppurtunity for students to know about the field and opportunity and growing the social presence of students and growing a network too. Apart from that the ssenior junior relations are good the seniors do guide and help in all things

The faculty of the college are experts in their particular field and have a good network and experience too in the indistry and in the training sector too. Though language proficiency is not that great but the professors sucessfully impart knowledge to the students and are able to clear the students doubts.
