Course Curriculum Overview
the courses here are very useful and cover a lot of ground. they got a 8/10 for their balanced focus on theoretical principles and practical applications. one big reason i chose this school was that it was flexbile. students can choose electives from a variety of subjects which helps students to get a well rounded education. students are also ready for academic success and innovation thaks to strong focus on reasearch projects.
Placement Experience
there are lot of good job oppurtunities at IITBBS. students can start looking for work on campus in their 7th semester which is the final year and 9th semester for dual degree students. the CDC cell works hard to put students in toch with top employers in a wide range of fields. every year big companies like google, tata steel, L&T and many more come to recruit.in past few years highest salary has been more than 1 crore and avg package would be 18lpa and placement percentage would be around 85.
Fees and Financial Aid
the yearly tuition fees for general category is 2,30,000 and for the category it is 15,000 this consists of all the fees including lab, gymkhana and everything and this remains the same every year and scholarship for the eligible candidates will receive 100% or 80, 60% depends on the criteria
Campus Life
IITBBS campus life is lively and enriching wiht a good mix of academic intensity and social interaction. the three fests like ALMAFIESTA, WISSENAIRE and E-SUMMIT and the GENERAL CHAMPIONSHIP puts the institute the best time to live in the months from January to April. the workshops and competitions and performances at these events are some of the best parts of college life
Hostel Facilities
the hostel facilities in IITBBS provides a pleasant place to live for students. one person per room had basic furniture like desk, chair, closet, bed, light, fan and even lan connection including wifi the hostel had water and electricity that never runs out.
Admission
i choose this campus because it has a strong focus on research, a quite campus and a course structure that allows for flexibility across disciplines. i had also applied for other top IITs and NITs. i got into these institutes but IITBBS got smaller class sizes and a growth path that looks better in this campus. to get into this campus you need to pass JEE ADVANCED and the cutoff changes every year and the shortlisted ones need to apply for JOSAA counselling
Faculty
in this college the faculty to student ratio is app 1:10 which offers personalized attention and excellent coaching. most faculty members have PhDs over the national and international universities. they are personable and encourage students to ask questions, research and debate intellectual topics outside of class. like any other institutions certain teachers may employ repetitive or theoretical tactics that may not appeal to all pupils
Night Life
this campus is in semi urban location as i said and this is a best place to enjoy the night life here and have some fun. after a long day most students relax on campus by doing things that brings people together and help them rest. the library works from 10AM-9PM everyday plentyof time to study late at night the SAC area is the best place for students to hang out. people enjoy to go to the malls and patia, the place where most of the restaurants are were the most visited places.
