Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course bsc economics is very well updated and to the point information is provided in it. Some cons of it is as it is in a very complex language but the teachers help us in understanding that and makes them easily approachable to students

Internships Opportunities

5

My college provides internship opportunities from 2nd year onwards and it has companies involved like google , facebook , linkdin etc We are supposed to do mandatory internship from 2nd year as it will help us to builed our CV for future job opportunities

Placement Experience

4

My college provides 100% placement opportunity and if by chance a student failed to get placement, they have learned enough to get a off campus placement, they can apply for economists jobs , banker etc

Fees and Financial Aid

The early fees for bsc economics at mit wpu is ?190000 and the course is for 3 years , so the total fees structures is ?570000. There are 3 types of scholarship apportunities at mit wpu which are bases on the Cbt entrance exam the conduct

4

My social life is very good going after joining mit wpu , there are many events there and well handled too!! The best event of mit wpu is RIDE it is the best event so far and the students even get to volunteer in it which is a very good thing

Hostel Facilities

5

I went to the mit hostel directly, the food is very very tasty and healthy , we get variety of food everyday , 24x7 water and electricity, wifi facilities locker facilities and the staff there is also just too awesome

Admission

My firsr and only priority was mit wpu , i didn't apply to any other colleges because mit provides a vast variety of courses which are indeed helpful The admission process was simple , i just filled the application form and there was a cbt test of me after that i passed that then a Personal interaction session

Faculty

5

All the facutly teaching the bsc economics 1year batch are very good and always available The exam pattern for each semester is we have 2 cca exams 15 marks each during the semester and 1 mid term and end term exam

Interview Experience

5

The first cbt entrance test i have was online and it was like a aptitude test then during my Personal interaction session i was asked the questions about economics which i studied in my class 12 The question were at moderate level and the interviewer was also very sweet and talking to me nicely

5

I already used to gym and the gym at mit wpu is just awesome The campus is at a very prime location we have cafes , gaming spots , restaurants etc at a walking distance from the college My hostel timings are 6am to 9.30 pm which is usually strict as it a mit hostel but the facilities provided there are just awesome Good food , wifi , 24x7 water electricity etc

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
