Sol is a good college with affordable and feasible fees. Students who are interested in doing a side by course can go for it. The degree provided is equivalent to a regular degree.

The structure of the sol is overhead than any other distant university. All facilities like study material, library and classes are provided by the university without any charge. Exams are conducted annually that means the student has to come to give the exams for once. The topics taught are relevant. The syllabus is up to date. Since one can also join the professional course it will help the person to be more professional than any other fresher.

The university just has started the placement cell. Although the placement cell is below average still any student who is enrolled in the university can apply for the internship.

Sol conducts social events like plantation drive and yoga day. Musical concerts are not conducted here. But the students are free to attend any other college's feasts with their ID cards. The students can even go to university competitions held in the university stadium.

There is no extracurricular activity or any society formed by the college instead students are free to play any sport in the university stadium.

I got it on a merit basis. The structure is good. The university provides the study material and the facility of the library is also there. Unlike all other regular colleges, sol doesn't offer exams semester wise rather it has an annual exam system This makes it perfect for the students who want to pursue any professional. It overall proves to be better than all other distance education modes.

The faculty of the university is 8 on 10. They are always present on weekends to take the queries. The teachers are well qualified and patient enough. They provide a proper insight on the topic asked. Proper guidance is also provided by them. They even suggest good books to read.
