Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum is good and is well designed and gets updated year by year If your batch find some subjects then they make sure that if the subject is too high for students to grasp then they shift it to a further year

Internships Opportunities

4

The internships are totally depended on the students before the last semester, if the student want he can do internship on basis of his interest some of my friends did their 2 months internships from shikshnganga and many other NGO's and companies

Placement Experience

5

Students become eligibe from their 3rd of their degree if they gain good enough skills and have talent but mostly students complete their 4yrs/ complete their course full duration and then apply for placements or job The placement here is quite decent not great to be honest, college gets placements into amazon, Deloitte, BOSCH, IBM , Infosys, etc and avg package is 7 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year for Bsc physics is 80k and it is a 4 yr course, no further fees will be charged above this 80k this includes all the charges, there is a scholarship called Dr. Vishwanath Karad scholarship from college but you need to be following soe condition or basically need to pass some eligibility criteria to get this scholarship and need to mainatain a minimum said cgpa to continue this scholarship

Campus Life

5

The overall campus life is very great there are many different kinds of students clubs in the college like maths club , psychology club , astronomy club , music club , cultural club, AWS club, Car racing clubs , etc The library is very big it is of 4-5 floors big and has all sorts of books, you can easily find the book you need Classroom has digital smartboards and also has a computer lab at every floor the overall sports environments is also very good but not much accessibiltiy to many sports i.e., it is limited

Admission

I did applied for different college for my Bsc like IISER and NISER colleges which are very great for research purposes and academics, but I didn't get selected in them as the cutoff was high and I couldn't meet it , but If i want to answer why I choose this college over other bsc physics colleges in pune is that this good has a specialization for astrophysics in Bsc physics degreee this made me choose this college over other

Faculty

5

Faculty for my course i.e., Bsc Physics are really great and co-operative They are also very experienced in their field and are good at teaching too Some faculty sure can be annoying or not co-operative depending on different courses but They are good overall

Night Life

5

The nightlife is another big most recommended thing to experience here, the college gets bery beautiful during the nighttime although it is not allowed to be in college during nighttime, you need to take permissions for that but if you manage to get one you are surely lucky There are many famous food outlets near the college like lassi wassi , shawarmaji , crazy cheese

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
