Course Curriculum Overview
Different subject for 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 semester and for 8th semester there is only practicals so that cadet are well trained before joining onboard ship.college also allow cadets to go onboard ship after completion of 8 semester.

Campus life is the most beautiful and memorable thing for everyone in their college. In our campus we celebrate lots of festivals including hindu festivals and all festival of all the other religions. We have our own college event like tempest, lithosphere, college foundation day etc.
Hostel Facilities
As we talk about hostel facility our opinion is good .for 1st year hostel 6 cadets are accommodated in large single room,for 2nd year hostel 2 cadets are accommodated .for 3rd year hostel 3 cadets are accommodated.and for 4th year cadets personal room are alloted.
Admission
As we know this college is known for excellence of marine engineering because it is the oldest college for marine engineering.as compare compare to other college IMU KOLKATA had best alumni connection and this college has oldest and well maintained marine workshop which make this college different from other.
Faculty
Faculty member are well trained with teaching experience .they also support us and guide us in other career related doubt .there are 8 semester for btech in marine engineering.marking scheme is average marking añd exam system is also good they provide academic calander before start of course and they strictly followed the calendar.
Night Life
We got separate gym for every year cadets.All the gym equipment are there in the gym.We got a common cafeteria for every year cadets. For faculty members separate cantine is available.In campus library approximately 5000 bookes are available.
