Remarks

I have mixed reviews about my college i have leant a lot and also there are many things which i dont like about my college but any how this is my college and i love my college for what ever it is. So positive

Course Curriculum Overview

The entrance exam is on 3 subjects physics maths and chemistry. There are multiple choice type question and you have to choose one. So this course is basically an engineering degree and it is affiliated under AICTE and UGC

Placement Experience

I am right now in final semester of 3rd year just about to sit for the placements as my college is newly built and hasn't have that much reputation so it dont provide that good placements as students expect but still the placement cell is helpful and majority of my seniors also got placed in big MNC s

College Events

In college there are many events like we have a drama club and tech club also college has a band There are cultural fest technical fest sports blood donation camp tree plantation yoga camp and many seminars and workshops are organised.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is more or less same in every private engineering college so it depends how you think of it for me its okay but we had to give approx 4 lakh in total in 4 years course which can be a bit too much for some students

Fees and Financial Aid

A good scholarship as such once a generic gate teaching institute gave some scholarship to some of our students and told if they start coaching there they will get some discounts and out college has some tie ups with some companies and training institutes from where we sometimes get some discounts

Campus Life

This college has some good culture of extra curriculum activities like many students do drama and play several sports like cricket and volleyball. And the lab set ups are also good many instruments are there on offer for the students.

Hostel Facilities

No i travel daily to my college from home my college don't have its own hostel but there are many pgs and mess available near by. Which is quite decent and value for money at the same time. Many of my friends stay in pgs.

External Expense: Rs.10000 - Rs.15000

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are very friendly and helpful they help a lot in every cause. I also learnt many things from them. They are knowledgeable and happy to share that knowledge. Many of them got placed so they help us and give valuable tips.

Faculty

The faculties are decent nothing out of the ordinary to write about but some faculties like the head of the department of electronics and communication he is very good at teaching and most importantly very student friendly

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

1. Students generally get eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the M.Sc. course. 2. Deperments like Biotechnology,Botany,Zoology have placement support. 3. Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
