The fundas of this college is very helpful for improving our social lifestyle and makes us a gentlemen . From third semester, students is eligible for campus placement. Mol ship, nyk , msc , fleet management, Dyna gas, Indian oil, and etc comes in our college for placement.each of the company takes good number of students. The highest package of the college is 144000 dollars in annual and the lowest average package is 40000 dollars. My plans is to continue my sailing after completing my degree.

I also applied for tolani maritime University, Manet Pune as well as Indian maritime University Kolkata campus for pursuing my BTech marine engineering and I also selected for each of them for my course because of my good rank in Indian maritime University common intrance test .I choose this college because of its legacy, Aluminia network, good placement and affordable course fee for a middle class students. In other colleges, the placement scenario is average as compare to my college and it's course fee is too much high. The admission procedure of my college is to crack Indian maritime University common intrance test, then according to rank, you will get college. The eligibility criteria of this college to pass higher secondary school, and pcm aggregate percentage is more than 60%. No medical issues should be allowed in this field.

The faculty to students ratio is good and the faculty of Indian maritime University is very familiar to students. Assistant professor P Raja c sir is very good faculty in teaching, helping nature as well as to help students when any types of problems faced by students related to study. Sujit saha faculty is a visiting faculty in our college and his teaching way is very bad for students because he is unable to explain the topic to students. The exam in imu kolkata for the course of BTech marine engineering is 8 in semester exam but there is also including practical as well as internal exam and class test taken by the faculty in each subject.the exam of BTech is not much easier or not much hard for students.20-30% students fail in semester exam due to lack of self study.

In Indian maritime University, they offered gymnasium, irctc cafeteria, library, playground and etc for students. Our college campus is very safe for male and female cadet to roam around at night.The college guard is always active for all the students as well as any types of of suspicious activities.
