Palash Paul's Review On Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College - [JNMC], Belagavi

I applied to KMC Manipal and JSS mysore but i couldn't get through because of the cutoff score of that years NEET UG as these are high cutoff colleges. This is the only college I got a confirmed admission from and this in itself is a very prestigious college which was developed back in 1963. Neet UG went wrong. Everyone please study because my colleges cutoff was 436 out of 720 in NEET UG. And for JSS was 460. Kmc manipal toh was a different league only. I thought I would get into it in stray round but then also it was at 600 so there was no chance. The admission experience was actually very smooth and nice with them calling us to a convention centre and telling us the details of the fees and everything about the hostel in a calm manner and they also took 10th and 12th boards original certificate and this you will get only when you complete your MBBS degree and not before that. The exams for this college is very easy compared to other colleges whixh makes me focus more on the studies rather than beating my head on the exam day, And also for the location which is belgavi which is in middle of both mumbai and banglore and you can book a flight ?? any time which makes the travelling easy...Read More

To be very true I didnäó»t score an amazing score, so government medical colleges and private medical colleges were not an option for me.I had given NEET UG 3 times by this time (repeated 2 years) and had to look out for either Foreign Medical Colleges(Russia,China, Philippines etc)or Deemed Medical Colleges in India.And Deemed medical colleges were the safer bet although we would have a huge strain on the pocket to get there.And the icing on the cake is this Medical College is closest to my home(about 70 km only)...Read More
