Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum include all important topics which is important for the doctors in real life use They have small group teaching classes ,self directed learning classes ,and skill labs to increase our practical knowledge It would have been better if they had a no attendance policy do that the students could manage there time more

Internships Opportunities

5

After the 4.5 years for college we will be given internship opportunity in there own hospital which provides 18,000 rs for the private students and 30,000 for the government students We have to work in the hospital ????

Fees and Financial Aid

I came to this college with a government sear so my fees was 3,24,000 rs kea quota,as for the hostel fee it was approx 84000 rs including the mess fee (chanakya hostel )which is the cheapest hostel in the campus . For the private seat it is 1800000 rs per year and for management it is 3600000 rs per year There is another hostel which is called the nti hostel which is 110000 per year fee with a roommate and 130000 for a single bed

Campus Life

5

There are many clubs like sports club ,cultural club ,literature clubs so the students can be engaged and feel included ,as for the infrastructure it is decent but can have more improvement but overall better than most medical colleges in india .

Hostel Facilities

3

There are two hostels for males and 1 hostel for females as for the cheaper one its not that great which needs more improvement on the infrastructure and sanitary fepartment but as for the expensive hostel which is called the nri hostel it is very neat and clean and has good food and infrastructure.

Admission

The exams for this college is very easy compared to other colleges whixh makes me focus more on the studies rather than beating my head on the exam day, And also for the location which is belgavi which is in middle of both mumbai and banglore and you can book a flight ?? any time which makes the travelling easy

Faculty

5

There are faculties in each branch of surgery and medicine and according to me it is one of the best faculties i have experienced The course is divided into phase 1 which is 1 year Phase 2 which is 1.5 years phase 3 part 1 which is 9 months and then phase 3 part 2 which is 1.2 years As for the exam system its the same in every college with a huge hall for examining the students Marking schemes is for 100 marks each subject hast two paper so total is 200 marks and adding 100 more marks of practical the total come to 300 Out of which you have to score 150 minimum The paper has 20 marks for mcqs and 80 marks for practical

Interview Experience

4

As for me i had few discussion with the administrative department about the fee structure and all the faculties that the college provide but not that much discussion. As for the written test there were no written tests provided.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
