If you are getting SOE then go for it if you are getting CS/IT in CUCEK you can join but for other branches you can check for other college.if you are not getting any other government college then you can opt for this
Placement Experience
Placement is good here.As at the time of placement bith SOE and CUCEK students seat together.The placement of IT/CSE is very good.I am from CSE and from CUCEK so i am giving you an example this year 19 students from cse were eligible for placement and out of 19 18 have been placed till now.so you can trust over the placement.Yea the core branches have less placement but they are preparing for gate and many of the students got selected for gate.
College Events
SATTVA It is a event organise by college in cucek SARGAM it is a event orgabise by welfare association of cusat. ENNOVIA it is a tech fest organize by cucek. Sargam is the vast event of the cusat.All students if cusat can participate in it.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible 44700 for central merit 22700 for state merit per sem.which is quite good for middle family.this is one of the beat university if kerala and you can spent this much amount for this university easily
Fees and Financial Aid
College doesn't provide any scholarship if you are outside of kerala.But if you are rabk opener of your branch then you may get 10000 rs as a scholarship amount.Loan is easily available here you can get loan from SBI easily.
Campus Life
Labs of CS/IT is good but lab of other department like civil mech has not good.if you go in final year you have to go to CUSAT for lab facility but soon these facility will be available here.For ECE AND EEE Lab is also available here.
Hostel Facilities
There is lack of hostel facility.in CUCEK there is no boys hostel and also only one girls hostel.so you have to take pg or hostels run by group of seniors which is authorized by the college administration.for double bed it will be max 1500 per person and for single 2000 per peraon.For mess you have to spent 3000 per month.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes college has a alumni network and they put a meeting of alumini on april 27.i have no any data that how many alumini were present there so i can't commebt more over that.college have a alumini cell which is led by dr shiyas sir.
Admission
To get admission you have to give entrance exam named CUSAT CAT.You have to apply in months of feb and exam will be in month of april.if you get decent rank then you will get 1st campus named SOE or you have to go for 2nd campus named CUCEK which is nkt as good as SOE.
