The library is the Asia's largest library present here. The whole library is under the cctv camera. And open all the days except national holidays upto 12 o'clock. But during exam it open 24*7 hours. All types of books are available in so many copies.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course that was taught very important for the future entrance exam eg NET,GATE,JRE etc. The exam pattern is held through the following step - (1) teacher assessment and class test, (2) mid sem, (3) teacher assessment and class test, (4) finally end sem. In few semesters having viva course and all the sem having advanced laboratories course.
Placement Experience
Last year IIT-KHARAGPUR provided highest placement among all the IIT and the job opportunities are also excellent. Yes, it provides various types of internship. Allong with all types of central and state internship MSC students can also get 1000 internship per month (any one of the above). I get the state internship 2500 per month.
College Events
Here various types of events are celebrated which are discussed below - (1) freshers welcome ceremony, (2) TEACHERS DAY celebration, (3) spring fest, (4) Farewell ceremony for our respective seniors,(5) Departmental sports, (6) Hall day ceremony etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are slightly expensive. Average 40000 per sem along with hostel fees. This contains tution fees, mess fees, hall establishment fees, WiFi fees etc. Besides these we need money for our daily life.
Fees and Financial Aid
The institute provides various types of scholarships. For every students there is a scholarship 1000 per month. Special scholarships are available for girls. The loan facility also very easy as state Bank of India provides students loan which is situated in our campus.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities are very good. All the laboratories are advanced laboratories with all the facilities and many TA are provided for us. There are a TATA sports complex ground and J C BOSE complex ground for our sport activities. And many seminar hall available for any type of events.
Alumni/Alumna
This year during alumni noble loriate Professor BEN L FERINGA come. Our seniors are also very helpful. They help us from the beginning how to accomodate the whole condition. They also help during our examination and for our future life.
Admission
Through the JAM entrance exam which was arranged by IIT-BOMBAY in Feb,2018. I qualified the exam and choosed IIT-KHARAGPUR through the online counciling. After that the admission fees were paid and the course was started in 13 July.
Faculty
Our professors are excellent. As I not so much like biomolecules part but great professor Dr. AMIT BASAK taught it and make it so interesting that I can't explain it in my word. All the professors are very friendly and always willing to give extra time all of us to clear all the doubt.
