I like the like the views around the college and like the environment and I like the friendly neighborhood. College has nice good temperature and nice scenes around the college. Govind ballabh pant institute of engineering and technology are overall

Computer science and engineering and great opportunity in future but the college did not provide any kind of intership to the students computer science and engineering has good future. And has great opportunity

Govind ballabh pant institute of engineering and technology has good environment. Govind ballabh pant institute of engineering and technology has good look of Himalayas. Overall it is a good college for engineering.

Campus Life

Their is not so many annual function and technical festival. They have lib for books but they did not have enough amount of books for students. The facilities are not good in the classroom. The college is not good for sports. Their is no clubs in college

Hostel Facilities

The facilities provided in the hostel room are chair a bed and a table. Meal are that much good according to me . Registration process are easy not to much hard . Room have less rent around the college

Admission

I choose this college because of computer science and technology branch and it is near from my home it's is in my home state . The college organise the counselling for the students. They provide the branch based on their rank in jee mains

Faculty

Faculty did not focus on studies they did not focus on students they just come and go they did not have any intentions for teaching new things to the students they did not focus they just come and go .

Night Life

They have no gym inside of college and have lib and not nice public area . Boys have in timing of 8 pm and girls has in timing of 6 pm . Their are some good famous places to visit around the college and some are outside of the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

-i have no choice to choose other college because my jee rank was not so good and in private college there fee structure is very high so I have to choose this college over other colleges. -yes i am rejected by many college because my jee rank was too low to get there admission. - you have to clear jee mains exam to get admission in my college. I applied for this college only as my parents allowed for this one only as it is closer to my home. The college lacks a bit in terms of infrastructure as compared to other colleges in the region. The placements are not good enough. To take admission into Btech 1st year in this college, one needs to give JEE Mains exam and UKSEE for lateral entry and 12th merit is accepted for admission in Biotechnology.
