- The campus is away from the city so it provides a good environment for the study.
- The regular student activities is part of the curriculum
- The campus is clean and well managed. & the fees is quite affordable.
Dislikes
- Some staff members are just there. They don't even know what they're teaching.
- No clarity about whether college is still autonomous or not.
- The winter is very cold & the heaters aren't allowed above this.
Course Curriculum Overview
The two class tests happen with a month gap between them and then the final exam happens. The curriculum is quite good and well planned. The teaching methods of many faculty members are quite bad. The level of exam is low to mid difficulty
Internships Opportunities
There aren't manu internship opportunities provided by the college. Students pays for the internship many times. Although many students did internship in very good places like drdo and teachers does encourage to do internships but almost no help is provided by the college for this regard.
Placement Experience
The collge has a placement cell and it is quite active. Although the average package is not so high (around 3 lpa) the number of students getting placed across all branches is quite good considering a tier 3 college.
Fees and Financial Aid
This college is located in Ghurdauri which is almost 10km away from the pauri city. The tution fees for the college is almost 32000 per semester and the hostel plus mess fees is near 17000 or 18000 per semester . In total you'll be paying around 50000 per semester.
Campus Life
The books are accessible from library. But you've to renew the books after the allocated time is over. The annual fest here in college is called Goonj. And the annual sports is called Josh. And also there are many other small activities done regularly.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are very different in different years. Every year you need to shift your hostel which is quite a tiring task. First year has 2 hostels but they've issues of network connectivity but 2nd yr hostel is good in that regard. Also the food is just bad in every hostel
Admission
The main reason for choosing the College for me was becz it is very near from my home and also my entrance exam result wouldn't have given me the college much different from this one. So they were the two main factors.
Faculty
some staff members are really friendly and responsible. But many are just there for nothing. They don't know how to teach. The semester has 2 class tests of 15 marks each which are included in Internal marks (total 50) and the final semester is of 100 marks out of which 30 is mandatory for passing and 60/150 is considered pass. Then there are practical exams.
Night Life
Since the college is in mountains there is constant threat of wild animals therefore it is adviced to not go out late night but still the streets of the campus is well lighted and boys does roam without worry late night although girls have limited time till 6 pm
