The view from our college is like we are in heaven

Dislikes

The overall environment in hostel like the entry time for girls is 6 pm after that no girl is allowed to go out
Only boys are allowed to roam in the campus after 7 pm
Girls can't even go to other girls hostel

Course Curriculum Overview

Difficulty level of exams is above average. The areas for improvement can be the labs of our department, getting well equipped tools and all the chemicals should be available. More than the academic the environment of our college usually prepare for real world application

Class Size: 24Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

50 thousand is the yearly fees, including hostel fees which is 18 thousand. I don't know much about the scholarship. Students who come under scheduled tribe/ schedule caste and also the students who come from jammu and kashmir gets the scholarship and also the toppers.

Campus Life

We generally have two major fest, first is josh related to sports events and goonj, related to other activities like dance drama. Theere are various clubs in every department, that helps us to get out of the slump time to time

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are very poor, not proper supply of electricity, 4-5 students have to accommodate in a single room for four years, geysers do not work, mess food is bleh!! Not proper supply of water

Hostel Fee: INR 18000 per year

Admission

I really liked the environment and the ambience of this college that's the soul reason why I took admission in this college. And as a btech biotech student, this is the best we can get as bio students

Faculty

Faculty to student relationship is good in our department, don't know much about the other department. There are total two internal exams and I end semester fore every semester. Every faculty is neutral to me, love hate relationship

Night Life

Gym is usually for the boys as girls have to take permit from every individual present on this planet earth. Girls' timing is not flexible at all, girls can't even go to other girls hostel and then there's boys hostel, boys can go anywhere without the permit and for girls, they can't even get out of college even for one day, without taking permission from every human possible

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I applied for this college only as my parents allowed for this one only as it is closer to my home. The college lacks a bit in terms of infrastructure as compared to other colleges in the region. The placements are not good enough. To take admission into Btech 1st year in this college, one needs to give JEE Mains exam and UKSEE for lateral entry and 12th merit is accepted for admission in Biotechnology.
