Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is not bery well structured. It is good but no very much appropriate in order to have a skilled degree. The exams are held almost every month. There are 2 class test and 1 end sem. If someone is unable to give any ct then ct 3 is also conducted which is the makeup ct.

Class Size: 67Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

16000 mess fee per semester, 2000 for hostel room per sem. 36000 per semester for tuition fees Nsp scholarship by aicte, fee waiver for jammu kashmir student, merit scholarship for top 10% student of each branch and year.

Campus Life

There is no proper fest or events. The private colleges are far better in terms of clubs socities and events. Although there are few ckubs like tsr and ieee and band also for music, if someone is interested then he or she can join

Hostel Facilities

The first year hostel and mess is nice but from 2nd year it starts getting worst. The food is also nice in 1st year but there is different mess for different hostel. The hostel and mess is very affordable. The mess provides 4 meal a day

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

I didn't applied to any other college. I wanted artificial intelligence and machine learning branch so i came here. The college acceptthe admission through jee main only for btech. Based on the rank and merit the branch is allocated

Faculty

The faculty are nice and supportive. Few faculty are not good but the majority of faculty is awesome. They are well educated and are doctorate from iit nit . They are knowledgable and also help students

Night Life

There is no proper gym for girls and only one gym for boys. There is no good place to visit or hangout. The entry timings for girls is very strict. They have to reach hostel by 6 pm and also can't go out of college without gatepass and permission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I applied for this college only as my parents allowed for this one only as it is closer to my home. The college lacks a bit in terms of infrastructure as compared to other colleges in the region. The placements are not good enough. To take admission into Btech 1st year in this college, one needs to give JEE Mains exam and UKSEE for lateral entry and 12th merit is accepted for admission in Biotechnology.
