The College of Engineering Attingal

Computer Science with AI and ML is a moderately tough course with science applications and 3D geometry. It is safe to say that you will fall behind. If you don't study and revise your materials everyday. The notes and homework with the teachers give should be strictly followed with and if it's not you will create alot of worries for exams and your future in this course

I have enrolled in the college with a NRI seat therefor I have to pay fifty thousand every semester which makes about one lakh per year since so it is a 4 year course, I have to pay 4 lakh for my whole course completion and an extra 1 lakh 25000 Direct Deposit which I will receive back after course completion. For my colleagues who are enrolled in the management seat. They are either paying high management seat fees with about 33000 per semester and also low management seat who are paying 20000-15000 per semester. There is an availability of a scholarship called E-grants, which is available for lower caste/ low income students.

The campus life is really fun and enjoyable I have met alot of fun people who share my same vibe. I thought that I would not meet any decent enough friends but I was wrong. We all play football or volleyball after college class time after 4 PM and it is really fun. If someone in our class have a birthday, everybody will put their money to buy a birthday cake. But not everybody is a comfort zone.There are also people that we don't understand quickly. But understanding them and their thoughts also plays a very crucial part in growing as a person. All the students in the college are nice and I have not witnessed a single fight between us and the upper class years. It is a peaceful college life. Participating in extracurricular activities are very fun. Everybody comes together and the friendly and amiable envirnoment sets the mood.

I got admission in this college through Non-KEAM which means they took my plus 2 marks and gave me admission, but the management seats were over and I had to take an NRI seat to get the admission. I planned to take my admission in chemical engineering at Amal Jyothy Kanjirapally, but at the last minute I decided to pursue a career in AI and chose CEAL. It is a decison that I will never regret over. You had to have a KEAM ranking of atleast thirty thousand to get into this college.

The faculties are very helpful and interactive with us. They are patient and answer our questions any time but a few times my attendance was taken wrongly and I lost a couple of classes even when I have attended them. The office staff are very responsible and the principle often gives us advice whenever we run into him. There aren't much faculty members who are disliked, Arun sir is our chemistry sir and he everyone's favourite because he teaches well and tends to all our doubts. He is a very funny and caring teacher.

There was a no written test.The only way to enroll in this college was by keem or by non keem There was a group discussion on the 1st day of class to break the ice between new students. It was an energetic session. We all go to know more about each other.

Our college is situated near the busy city of. There are tons of shop in the city. There are cake houses, bakerys, hotels, football turf, KFC, fast food restaurants. We dont haven't spent that much of nightime at our college. Since the classes are over at 3:40 PM but even at a night there are bus stands and the KSRTC bus stand so that we can travel home safely. It is a rather safe city because it is always busy and the people are always alert. Crimes such as molesting, stealing don't happen too much.
