Course Curriculum Overview

Digital marketing Online exam The Digital Marketing Institute do not offer Exam Eligibility Extensions. Candidates must take the exam within 24 weeks of completing the Professional Diploma. We recommend students take the first exam 3-6 weeks after the completion of the course. If you do not book your exam well in advance of your exam eligibility end date there is a chance the test centre will not have any available dates left. Should a candidate fail their first exam attempt, they must repeat the exam within the exam eligibility period. Candidates have three exam attempts in total. It is the candidate’s responsibility to ensure they book their exam and take any further repeat exams within their 24 week eligibility period.

Placement Experience

3.5

Best placements are provided, but a bit emphasis is required for the betterment of faculty. Batch of 2020 Placements : As I am in the 2nd year, we don't get placements. Our college has an outstanding placements record. It also has a dedicated placement cell. 70% of the students who appeared for interviews got placed in the last year. The average package offered was Rs. 3.5 Lacs per annum. The Big 4, Jet Airways, TCS, Ernst and Young, and GTH are some of the companies that offer placements to the students every year. Internship fairs are organised by the college internship cell. Infrastructure : The infrastructure of the college is good. The playground is huge and has enough greenery. There are four computer labs (2 AC labs and 2 non-AC labs) with about 30 PCs in each lab. Two-storeyed library facility is available. Classrooms are average. The college canteen provides good quality food. No hostel is available in the college. Faculty : Most of the teachers are great at their work, but some teachers don't work hard. Proper powerpoint presentations are given. After the regular classes, tutorial classes are organised for clearing the doubts of students. Lab sessions are properly organised to provide practical knowledge. Overall, the teaching quality can be rated as 4 out of 5. Other : The college has plenty of societies for the overall development of students. They organise both educational and fun tasks regularly. The campus crowd is average. I don't have any idea about the scholarships provided by the college.

College Events

Economic society of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College The economics society comprises the entire fraternity of teachers as well as students and aims at providing a wider learning experience through various activities. It is a forum for free and informal discussions on economic issues and also encourages students to make presentations on topics of their interest. This inculcates in them a spirit of learning and enhances interest in economics as a subject. We believe that out-of-class interaction are indispensable for developing the necessary intuitive flow for the subject and make the undergraduate programme a holistic experience. The society organises talks and seminars by eminent scholars and professionalson crucial issuesto develop perspectives and broaden the horizon of the students. The extracurricular activitiesare an integral part of our training in economics. The annual economic festival ‘Econotize’ is a most popular and coveted event in Delhi University and has attracted widespread participation from colleges and institutions in Delhi. The mock United Nations conference simulating the ambiance of international economic forums like the WTO, IMF etc bring together students to engage in extensive and well researched discussion on burning issues. These have received widespread applications and acclaim across the university and colleges. Besides, innovative economic events like ‘News hours’ and ‘Recruiters’ have become famous and are testimony to the creative imagination of students working to devise activities that enhance interest and awareness in economics. We believe that the economics society is an essential part of the department which supplements the academic efforts and has successfully ignited the spark of learning in studentsand making it an enjoyable experience.

Fee Structure And Facilities

FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES The fees structure is the best part. My fees is a minimal 6805 unlike other colleges in delhi university. Its like phenomenal that we get such great education, exposure and knowledge at such a low fees per annum. Moreover we can pay our fees on paytm making it a lot easier to pay our fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Frankly telling i am not known to this fact about loan facilities. However scholarships are given to students on merit basis. The high scorers in each course can enjoy great scholarships. Frankly telling studying at this minimal amount of fees feels like a scholarship itself to all the students.

Campus Life

3.5

Many events take place in the college. We have fests for almost all the courses and then there is the annual fest for the college where there is performance by someone popular. Students actively participate in the events. The events are somewhat very interesting. The events are on a large scale. Then there is anniversary for our college.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Sorry, but the college have no hostel as well as mess facilities. But according to the standard of our college if i expect to be a hostel or mess facility in our college, they will excellent and good mess facility. And no one have any complain toward the college hostel and mess facilities.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors are helpful we get to know many important things from seniors they are very polite to the juniors. Yes and also alumni interaction is good. My interaction with our alumni was very good. Yes, the college provide a proper platform for student- alumni interaction. Yes, the alumni contribute in the overall development of the college as well as the students.

Admission

Fill out the application. Write the admissions essay. Gather supplemental materials. Interview for admission (if necessary). Receive your acceptance letter! Make a List and Check It Twice! Check and double-check that you complete all of the application requirements specific to your school and your situation. For example, the requirements for a first-time undergraduate will probably be different that the requirements if you want to transfer colleges. By making a checklist of college admission requirements for the colleges where you want to apply, you can be sure the you won’t miss any college application deadlines or essential steps in the process of applying to college. By making a checklist and giving yourself plenty of time, applying to college is manageable — even fun! — for any student.

Placements, Faculty & Facilities placements, faculty, facilities submitted by students & alumni. B.A. - Batch of 2020 Placements : 50% of the students were offered placements in well-known companies. They really got a good chance of enhancing their skills and showing their talent by doing internships. They are really offered good salary. Infrastructure : The college provides the facilities like library, sports and games, different labs, etc. Classrooms are really clean. Washrooms are well-maintained. A girls' common room is available. The canteen offers food at reasonable prices. The college promotes skills and talent of students in all possible ways. Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
